Bazooka!!!

I think someone pissed him off and Eva 01just blasted him away...

Man... I had to make a video about  DNA for genetics...

I made it with peanuts, like in the "Going Nuts" film... 

During filming I used Eva 01's handgun (the one of Revoltech #004)... However,I couldn't find it after finishing... After almost 24 hours of despair I found it!

Nothing new here... As a matter of fact, most of the image is recycled from other pics, can you tell from which ones?

I'll try to make one in time next week!

PS: did you ordered a MP Eva? I did... I'm sick XD

Year 2: Operation Yashima!!!

Making this picture by taking it from this angle was hard, as the front of the rifle or the Eva would either appear out of focus...

In fact, I have been making this image since December!

Truth be told, it's still not finished as I was planing on making it a 3D red-blue anaglyph for the anniversary...

I couldn't find ones and my attempts to make them would be, well, not good...

So, until I find ones I will complete this image... Until then you'll have to be with this one :D

I hope next year I can make something better ^.^

Zeruel's Attack (Part 4)

Slowly reaching the end of this long arc!
I feel like Sadamoto with his never-ending manga...
Just so you're informed, part 1 was over a year ago and today (interestingly) is the anniversary of part 2... Part 3 was a couple of months ago...
The pryramyd is the model I already have in a PS file ready for use (this time chopped to illustrate the part the angel blasted earlier)...
So, the explosion on Eva 01 was actually hand-drawn... Besides that, there's nothing new on the image...
Well, I'll put this story in the vault for some time...
Someday you'll see a berserk Eva 01 Tv version...

In other news, I published a new drawing of Jill Valentine in my devianArt...
EvaEvo 04 was already released and it rocks! I whish I had that tone of metalic red for mine...
Waiting for the re-run of the Mass Production Eva... I hope it comes with something new beside the box...

In a few weeks is the 2nd Anniversary of the blog!
I'l try to make something interesting...

Lake Bottom

Eva 02 as seen in the bottom of the lake in The End of Evangelion...

Somehow, it matches my status this weekend.. I woke up and puked like 5 times before settling in a zombie-like status...

I made this one quickly when I realized I didn't posted anything last week either!

Oh, the semester beginings!

Anyhow, I used a blue filter to give the underwater appearance and a new water reflection brush to put in the passing light...

I cloned the Eva's layer and painted it black to make the shadow beneath it...

I'll post something again this weekend.. I hope...

P.S. Did you see that the Revoltech Mass Production Evangelion is gonna have a limited re-release? Judging from the images, it will come with the wings, the Lance of Longinus purple replica and the double-edged-giant-swod-like-thingie... May 15th... 

I think I'll have one...

As long as I can get it from where I normally do 'cuz otherwise it's gonna be F*cking expensive!

A very hard drawing, but f^<|{ yeah!
I think is my favourite so far!
I  tried to make all the shadows while taking into account the 2 sources of light (the Eva's arm and core)...
Rei is a drawing kindly provided again by Evageeks forum member Cruel Thesis, I colored it so that it wold match the scene...
Originally the Eva was supposed to have wings, but after seeing the finished drawing with the sketch of the wings I decided the image would look overloaded, so I deleted it...
Now that I think of it, it's the 4th time I illustrate Eva 01 in it's released form (the others where here, here and here)...
This Monday I start my 4th semester in school, so maybe some posts from now to June will be skipped... But I'll try to make them all!
I'll be taking Genetics this semester :D
I'll make me a pigeon-cat  }:D

Too bad we don't have Metaphysical Biology like in Evangelion :(

Situation resolved!

Done in a rush... Again... That's why the elbows of Eva 00 look like half-baked cake...

Just came back from the movies, saw The Beauty and the Beast on 3D... Great as always... 

Anyhow... The scene where Eva 02 is introduced in Rebuild of Evangelion, unfortunately I couldn't find the image of a ship to place it sinking behind Eva 00...

There was supposed to be a mirror image, of Eva 02 as seen from behind Eva 00, but there were, ejem, production incidents involving the tiny plastic piece that holds Eva 02's rigth pylon in place... It's currently in recovery from the surgery...

I just noticed how great this year will be: 2 Resident Evil games (Op. Raccoon City and 6); 2 Resident Evil movies (Retribution and Damnation); Evangelion 3.0 in Fall and End of the World in December!

It doesn't get any better (unless Hot Toys decides to release the 1/6 Ada Wong figure and re-run midnight Albert Wesker)...

The concept of angel Eva 03 figthing Eva 02 Beast mode is old for me.. Probably first though about it around this time of past year...

For a change, this scene happens in a desertic area filled wit dead trees...

There's a lot of dust floating around due to the Evas' movements... I think they came out right...
