I mashed up 2 different frames from End of Evangelion for a single image as the idea of Eva 01 alone didn't appealed much to me...
I re-made the drawing of Shinji from the "Groundwork of Evangelion: the Movie 1", also taking 2 different frames into it, the body is from the moment when he screams after seeing the destroyed Eva 02 and the head is when he first appears with the Eva...
Besides that there's nothing new here XD

Re-hice el dibujo de Shinji del "Groundwork of Evangelion: the
Movie 1", también tomando 2 cuadros diferentes, el cuerpo es del momento donde él grita después de ver al Eva 02 destruido y la cabeza cuando aparece con el Eva
Aparte de eso no hay nada nuevo XD

I was waiting to discover many ways to portray the climatic moment of Evangelion 2.0 after all the Eva+pilot drawings...
Ultimately I chose this one; discarded drafts included a side view of the Eva; Shinji in a plug suit with a warrior-face with the Eva firing eye-beams and an EoE like scene (when it raises in a tornado of dust) view of the awakened Eva-01 with the halo...
The glow of the arm and eyes is a half-transparent layer, amd the core and skin of eva 01 was drawn on, in the original picture, I had removed the upper chest plates...
Curiously, the Eva has no feet! The original picture left them out... That's why I had to place the Angel's core there...
Only one Eva+pilot picture to go!
At last, the Eva that started it all is here!The General-purpouse Humanoid Decisive Battle Weapon: Evangelion Test Type Unit 01 [watta name!] is finally here!As usual, some shadows were created, and color enhancement took place...Shinji was hard to find... In every pic he's depresed or NOT in the plugsuit, wich is a requirement for continuity...It was after I had finished the pic and was re-packaging the Eva that I found out that an ilustration in the Eva's box its pretty much the same that I made...Maybe it was in my subconcious...
This time Eva unit 01! (Rebuild's version)When I realised that the Positron Rifle it too heavy to be hold like that I was way too ahead into the original BG removal to re-take the picture off the figure.Recreate the climatic scene of 1.0 was harder that I originally though... The firey smoke was hard to draw, Shinji is a screenshot of the movie. The green highlights on the Eva were enhanced, so were the eyes. There are at least 7 layers of smoke behind the Eva; in front and on the back of the rifle and in front of the Eva.I was suposed to use the first version of Rebuild's Eva 01, but I didn't like that one and skip it's bought (so were the glow in the dark; alternate color ver., F-type equipment and clear color versions of all evas).Overall it's relatively better than the first ones. I'll keep improving...
