The image of Eva 03 was gonna be last week's post. Instead of Unit 04, there was a building. Of course then I thought: why the heck is Eva 03 firing at it? Eva 04 came to my mind later... The AT field was very easy to draw, and I think we all remember the rainbow motif of Rebuild... When I was enhancing the different layers of trees I came up with the idea of the forest being on fire... I Didn't drew the smoke there must be, or the pic would have looked dark and well, smokey... The only thing that I couldn't think of is why are they fighting?
The Thunderspear is definitely something that belongs to Eva 02... I tried to use it and the 1st Rebuild Eva 00 but it didn't quite fitted. I was gonna use the 2.0 mold of Eva 02, but then again, ANY Eva 02 looks good in a dinamic action pose (bad luck for Eva 00, will go on carring shields). As usual I tried to erase the joints, the result is a continuous neck and abs... I'm not quite sure of how many "v" plates the Eva has on the chest [they seemed to change from episode to episode and from scene to scene in the movie], but my guess was 4 plus the one on the hips... The cable was drawn and the pink glow progressive knives make was added to the blade of the Thunderspear, wich also had a color palette swap to enhance the different tones Or so I think...
Improvised... Couldn't think in time of something to make... Assisted with color selection I could apply the color filter on everything but the high-lights... I thinks it suffers from the same problem Evangelion 1.01 suffered: Dark image... Anyhow... Waiting for The new Revoltech Eva 01 to be released... And I heard that Eva 02 is on the way... The true question is... When are we gettin' Mark VI?
