Battle at Styx

Evangelion Evolution Unit 05 arrived this morning so...

The battle in the main shaft (named "Styx") of the European NERV base "Bethany"...

The BG is from a .pdf file I got that depicts how to assemble out of paper the shafts of the base (there's one of Tokyo-III and many others from different mecha animes)

So, really easy, a bit of dust, shine and sparks...

I wanted to use the angel's head that comes with the figure, but I'll leave the heavy editing for vacations (I want to complete the angel's body using the gashapon I bought some months ago)...

The review of the figure is already on the Youtube Channel...

Sniper!

Coming to think of it, it's the 2nd time Eva 03 is depicted with this rifle...
Originally it was going to be Eva 00, but I decided that it had too many images in the past weeks...
So I used Eva 03 instead... This one is really easy, I should be doing a documentary investigation and instead I'm writing this!
With that in mind I just added a quick BG... I really like how easy it it for EvaEvos to hold their guns...
Anyhow, Uncharted 3 was released this week... Man I want it...
And EvaEvo 05 is gonna be released in a few days...
Ends of the year are evil.. Everyone releases their crap for you to buy...

Mecanisme de defense

I jut remembered: I have Angel figures!
A bit of PS resizing and perspective and there you are!
Did you noticed Eva 01's hand? It's actually a custom of one of the angel arms of the Eva 03 that was repainted, I added some purple on top to simulate the burnt armor and (though you can't see it) red in the palms...
The ligth whips of the angel are drawn 'cuz no matter what chroma key I used, they were erased when deleting the BG...
Anyhow... This month Eva 05 is released, so the last of my summer job's earning will be obliterared...
I hope that some time passes before anothe figure is announced so I can regenerate my wallet...
