So... The first one out of (planned) 4 images on this particular scene... I filled the gaps on the Eva's arm... And that's pretty much it...EvaEvos take a lot of the editing work off my back as the joints are hardly noticeable, I only have to watch the chroma keys...Nearing to the 100th post of the Blog...
Yay! My new F-type Evangelion Unit 01 that arrived earlier this morning!I Must say, I was expecting something like the MP Evas or the Eva 02 Air version, but it turned out to be a really good figure...I like the way the small details are printed in the Eva and the elbows are perfectly concealed thanks to the extended armor...I only disliked the limited hip joint: the extra armor makes impossible for the leg to spin, despite the joint is there... As of the image I used a cloudy sky and a cold filter... The A.W. Mastema is the one found in the Bandai Model kit of the same Eva, reduced in about 1/4 it's true size to make it match with Unit 01... The impact volts were made with a mixture of spray can, a shine and crack brushes for the ligthnings...Bit of glow here and there and voilá!
Once again, an MP Eva finds himself being destroyed...I used the spike-launcher-open-pylon, but you can hardly make it out... I think its a little bigger on the top... I added the empty shells coming out of the back (they're shotgun shells actually), added some smoke and drew the spikes on the MP Eva's head...The blood and gore were made with the splash brushes... Besides that, nothing new... Awaiting for EvaEvo 03 and the soon-to-be Eva 04...
Originally, Rebuild's Eva 00 was gonna be here, but then I remembered that in the new movies, Ramiel had a different shape when firing it's doom beam, so the scene was changed to the Tv version... Accordingly, I changed the ESV and Rebuild 1.0 Eva 00 for their NGE counterparts...All of that was really easy, the beam's blast and the fire on the back were a bit trickyer...I completed the back's spinal cord armor and applied a bit of glow over the angel...As usual I reused the stars from other pics...Have you seen the pics of the completed Revoltech Mark VI? Can hardly wait!
Just so that I'm not called an elitist...This is my RD in it's first lead...Pretty much the same as in every other one... Didn't have to erase any neck joints, only to recolor the black ones of the shoulders, knees, hips and torso...I decided to keep him... Don't expect much from me for this one ¬.¬
He has an owner, and according to Toy Story, that is enough for a toy...
Now: go bring water from the well in the woods RD!... No! I don't care it's pitch black!
