No, the first (let's call it "commission work" despite it wasn't precisely that) I've made: Eva 04 floating in front of Ramiel's fiery explosion as seen in the Rebuild of Evangelion Pachinko games... I think they're called "Last Messenger" or "Last Angel"...
Anyhow, I've used again the water reflection effect I used last HERE and the 2.0 mold Eva 04 (which is actually a custom I made)
I must say, erasing the silvery color of both this Eva and the 2.0 mold Eva 00 is quite difficult for me... I dunno why... In any case, for once since many months ago I have the image for next week ready!
Also, is the Eva gliding, hovering, levitating, floating or what!?
Well, next Monday I have to go back to school so once again the week skipping, although considering that I've not been posting on a weekly basis as originally planned I dunno why I give excuses XD

Eva 01 ready to fire the Positron Sniper Rifle (the "2nd Experimental High Power Self-Propelled 460mm Positron Cannon" according to the official designation)...
This time I used again Google's SketchUp to make the firing pit, well, the best approximation I could make with the basic knowledge I've gathered so far about the program...
This is barely the 3rd time I've used that Positron Rifle, the first one was here and the other here... And never with the same Eva 01!
BTW, the figure it's making it's debut on the blog: it's the Revoltech #032!
I bought it in December but I didn't had the chance of using it until now, so here it is!
Also, its addition completes all the Evangelion Revoltech collection of mine (let's leave aside the very 1st version of Eva 05 and all those unnecessary limited editions that just vary a bit the color or transparency of other Evas :D )
Anyway, besides the 3D thingie no new stuff here... I'm already making the image for next week (one of Eva 04, a requested by someone)
It's been a while since I used Eva 05 for an image so I decided to put it here, in another strange fight...
This time, to create the city behind, I used Google's SketchUp... The city IS 3D design even when not noticeable due to the drawn appearance of the buildings, but it's a start...
Besides that, I didn't used any new anything on this one (most of the production time went on to making the city and it's renderings)
Have you watched the Eva Q camrip? It's great! I think there will be around 12 new figures!

The desperate battle between Eva 01 and the remotely controlled Eva 02 in their descent to Terminal Dogma...
There's not much in this one, glows here and there, extensive editing on Eva 02's head to accommodate the eyes under the openings and a quick drawing of Kaworu...
Not much after many weeks without posting, but it's a start...
I bought a couple of orchids to accompany my carnivorous plants so my plant table is getting crowded (well, it already was anyways).. I'm on vacation now so I'll post weekly...

Well, it took a while, but finally I managed to pull out a convincing water reflection...
However, I couldn't draw again a convincing sunset sky... And I got lazy when it came to making the BG, so I recycled completely the one featured with Eva 03 here... Lazy me, hahahaha... I'm a fraud T-T
So, I used my recently arrived EvaEvo 04 (which came with Mark 06) and a few tricks that I have no idea how to describe... Has something to do with a displacement tool... Just visit the tutorial here (I'm gonna try later on a few other tricks I saw there)
Maybe I'll use this technique again when I "rebuild" one of my favorite images (The girl with the red eyes), made over 2 years ago when I was young and unafraid and dreams were made and used, not wasted (yup, want to go see "Les Misérables" when it comes out in theaters)...
But seriously, that image of Rei is quite ugly for the so-called standards of my images nowadays...
And talking about coming out to theaters... Evangelion 3.0 is out in Japan... I want to keep myself spoiler-free for some time (let's say that a subbed camrip will suffice)...
The only thing I searched for was how many different Evas are there in the movie to see how many new figures I'll have to buy, however, I spoiled myself something(s)...

Eva 02 as it will be seen in Evangelion: You Can (Not) Redo!
I must say, this figure really gave me a headache... The stand! The freakin' stand!
It can't hold the Shuttle-thing and the Eva at the same time without collapsing...
So, nothing special, actually, it's the fastest I've finished an image!
To begin with, the straight lines of the Shuttle-thing makes really easy to erase the chroma key and the BG, well... Black, blue and stars brush...
Asuka, on the other hand...
Well, I though that Eva 02 was kinda lonely so I decided to add her at the last minute (when I was writing the entry actually)...
She is a composition of 2 images: the Asuka featured months ago in the monthly image of the Eva Store (if memory serves me well), which had the Mark 06 Spear removed and replaced with the helmet she uses in the film (the 2nd image), that was edited to look like a drawing (you can still see some details of the "cartoonization"... The helmet, BTW, is a picture from the Real Action Heroes figure of Asuka (Evangelion Q version)...
Anyhow, I'll try to post something next week... and waiting for the release of Eva Q!

Well, I finally ended playing Resident Evil 6...
Fun all the way through... Now just to wait for the Hot Toys Ada Wond to be released...
Anyhow, Eva 00 holding the 8th Angel's core...
I dunno why, but I don't really like this one...
Nothing new on except for the hand-drawn angel arm (something I did previously here, in fact, this drawing is essentially a continuation of those 3)
Anyways, my Eva 02 beta is on the way, I used a cheaper shipping method to save some cash, so I guess I'll be receiving it by the 2nd or 3rd week of November...
Just in time for the movie's release XD
