Coming to think of it, it's the 2nd time Eva 03 is depicted with this rifle...Originally it was going to be Eva 00, but I decided that it had too many images in the past weeks...So I used Eva 03 instead... This one is really easy, I should be doing a documentary investigation and instead I'm writing this! With that in mind I just added a quick BG... I really like how easy it it for EvaEvos to hold their guns... Anyhow, Uncharted 3 was released this week... Man I want it... And EvaEvo 05 is gonna be released in a few days...Ends of the year are evil.. Everyone releases their crap for you to buy...
I jut remembered: I have Angel figures!A bit of PS resizing and perspective and there you are!Did you noticed Eva 01's hand? It's actually a custom of one of the angel arms of the Eva 03 that was repainted, I added some purple on top to simulate the burnt armor and (though you can't see it) red in the palms...The ligth whips of the angel are drawn 'cuz no matter what chroma key I used, they were erased when deleting the BG...Anyhow... This month Eva 05 is released, so the last of my summer job's earning will be obliterared... I hope that some time passes before anothe figure is announced so I can regenerate my wallet...

Almost everything but the figure's pics is recycled from older images....Done quickly to post today (instead of during the weekend)... Cand hardly wait for December... I need vacations!
The sad, sad ending of Eva 00 and Rei as seen in episode 23...Eva 00 was tricky to pose, as the hands and limited shoulder articulation (when bending towards the body) would get in the way...In the end it didn't matter 'cuz the Eva's arms are covered by the light effects...Now, I was given the Rei outline, and originally she was going to be only a black outline, butI didn't liked the resulto, so I colored Rei; then I tried to make her semi-transparent, but it looked horrible... I saw many different translations for than episode's title, including "countermove", "enemy attack" and "defense line", so you pick, after all, you know what chapter I'm talking about...So, I reduced the Dual Saw's size to match the one seen in the manga (if you remember from this post's pic, the Saw and the Mastema are bigger than the Evas themselves)...So, abit of size reduction here and there, a bunch of pics to see wich angle matched the Eva's hand, motion blur, recycled trees and there you go...Have been makin this image since Wednesday, about 30 minutes a day... Trying to make them on Saturdays it's impossible with the homework... Anyhow, Halloween coming by... Suggestions for an image?
I made it with episode 22 in mind, so let's all take that one as reference...I had to lower quality to post something today... I have to resume 41 pages about plant cells and a lab report for botany; make 5 papers for cell biology and complete a biostatistics report!SO, sorry... Eva 00 is not holding the Lance, the bow of the ship in the 1st plane is the one seen here...Not much in here...I hope I can keep up with both the blog and my homework!
